AOANJRR 2024 Annual Report (25th edition)
Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry, SAHMRI
Data period to 31 December 2023, analysing 2,131,050 procedures. The registry's all-robotic-systems comparison finds no difference in adjusted revision rate between robotically assisted and non-technology-assisted primary total knee replacement, the same null result it reports for computer navigation, although there are fewer revisions for loosening and instability with robotic assistance. The Triathlon CR specific tables are the source of the 19.2 per cent (KT66, adjusted HR 0.86, p = 0.033) and 30.4 per cent with patella (KT68, adjusted HR 0.74, p = 0.001) six-year cumulative revision reductions carried in the audited summary. CY2023 volume was 78,125 knee, 58,529 hip and 10,141 shoulder, totalling 146,795.
