Robotic surgery in Korea is 비급여, that is non-reimbursed and privately paid, and HIRA's 2025 non-covered price disclosure data puts it at 10.0 to 25.0 million KRW per case. Named examples are Samsung Medical Center da Vinci Xi at 11.0 million and SP at 11.5 million KRW, and Seoul National University Hospital at 11.2 to 14.0 million KRW. Government has stated an intent to reimburse and faces obstacles. Every named example is a soft-tissue da Vinci case, so the range bounds Korean willingness to pay for robotic surgery and is not an orthopaedic robot price.
