Southern Cross's policy-changes register records that on 22 October 2024 robot-assisted knee and hip replacements were added to the Affiliated provider-only healthcare services list BY NAMED MANUFACTURER PLATFORM: Stryker MAKO, Smith+Nephew CORI, Zimmer Biomet ROSA and Johnson & Johnson VELYS. From 1 April 2026 a general exclusion applies to robot-assisted procedures unless specifically listed on that Affiliated-provider list.
