On 22 October 2024 robot-assisted knee and hip replacements were added to the Affiliated-provider-only healthcare services list by named manufacturer platform: Stryker MAKO, Smith and Nephew CORI, Zimmer Biomet ROSA and Johnson and Johnson VELYS. From 1 April 2026 a general exclusion applies to robot-assisted procedures unless specifically listed on that Affiliated-provider list. Cover is therefore platform-named and provider-gated, and the listing itself is the commercial asset.
