CY 2020 Medicare Hospital OPPS and ASC Payment System final rule

For CY2020 CMS added total knee arthroplasty to the ASC Covered Procedures List, and removed total hip arthroplasty and six spinal procedures from the Inpatient Only list. Total knee arthroplasty has therefore been payable in a Medicare-certified ambulatory surgical centre since 1 January 2020.
